Inanna is the Sumerian Goddess of the earth and fertility. She descended to the underworld, passing through seven gates to confront the darkness and her dark sister Eriskegal. At each gate, piece by piece, she removed an item of her clothing and jewelry until she was naked. After her descent, she hung for three days and nights until she was reborn. She has since become known as the Goddess of death and rebirth.

My Inanna Goddess Necklace is strung with czech glass, sterling silver bali beads, cast pewter spirals, sterling silver spacers. Bead colors are light blue/grey, light & medium turquoise & very pale purple. Clasp is a sterling silver toggle.

Two ways to wear this piece. Can be worn with strands loose or twisted. On an average height person, the pendant will fall at the heart chakra (mid chest).

The necklace includes an Inanna Goddess Pendant, which is made from fired, glazed clay with a mother-of-pearl finish. Inanna is wrapped in sterling silver wire and adorned with two amethyst gemstones. Necklace is 24" long plus the 2.5" Inanna pendant.
