Artemis is the Greek Goddess of the moon, nature, and childbirth. In Rome she was called Diana - goddess of the hunt. Artemis is the protector of women and mistress of animals. Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, and the deer and bear, animals of rebirth, are both sacred to Artemis. She is a Virgin Goddess, independent and free to roam the woods and choose her lovers as she wishes.

Artemis-Diana protects the wild places and animals and to her was known the deep places in Nature where one could rest and regain strength. Artemis' qualities include independence, strength, and connection to nature and animals.

My Handmade Artemis Goddess pendant is made from fired glazed clay and wrapped with sterling silver wire. The pendant is strung on a faux pearl chain.

Pendant Length- 2.5"
Necklace Length - Choose a custom length up to 36" when you order. Lengths between 24" and 36" will not have clasps unless you specify you want one. Lengths less than 24" will include a small lobster clasp.

Packaging- This necklace comes in an organza pouch. Additional gift wrapping, including a box and bow with gift card are optional.
