Hecate is the Greek moon Goddess of darkness and magic. Hecate is a crone who would walk the roads at night accompanied by packs of dogs and carrying a blazing torch. People honored her by leaving offerings at the places where three roads crossed. Hekate protects women when they leave their homes and guides and directs when one path ends and another begins.

Hecate makes up the Greek triad with Persephone (Hecate) and Demeter (mother) and represents the crone energies at their highest intensity. Hecate holds the magical powers of regeneration and is a Goddess of choices, wisdom and of leaving the old behind to begin anew.

My Hecate Goddess Necklace is strung with bronze finish ceramic beads and 6 cast pewter beads with a copper finish. Clasp is a copper toggle. The necklace include a Hecate Pendant, made from fired clay with a metallic bronze glaze. Wrapped with copper wire and sporting a large cast pewter bead with copper finish and a spiral pattern.

Pendant Length - 2.25" - Necklace Lengths up to 26".
