Freya Goddess Pendant

Freya (or Frayja, Freyja) is the Queen of the Valkyries and has considerable power. Freyja is the goddess of love, beauty, marriage and wealth - associated with divination, sexual freedom, passion, and seidr (Norse magic and shamanism). Freya the Norse equivalent to the Greek Goddess of Love, Aphrodite.

Freya, in Norse Mythology, is sister to Frey (the Norse fertility god) and they are both the children of Njord. She is the wife of the mysterious Norse god Od. Frayja was often called upon to comfort those who are dying, to ease their transition into Valhalla (the "otherworld"), serving as a guide and companion on the journey to Valhalla.

My Freya goddess pendant is wrapped with sterling silver wire and is adorned with bali silver beads and three amethyst gemstones. Sexy shape and vibrant glaze is a medium Purple (your monitor may show it as bluish) with a mother-of-pearl finish. Size is 2.25" long.
