The Phaistos
Disk is a round, clay tablet, covered with signs and glyphs on both sides. Found
in Crete at the early part of the 20th century. This unique and mysterious disk
depicts a syllabic script dating back to the late second millennium BC. No one
has yet been able to decipher its text.
It may contain an ancient Minoan or Mycenean Crete script. Minoan Crete was a
nature and goddess loving culture. The palace at Knossos is a homage to the natural
world.
